Was able to resurrect my old ArtZ II 12x12 tablet after many years of disuse thanks to this driver. Couldn't be happier!

(Why bother to divide feedback to review apart from comment and others... I just want to rate..)

In the machine I'm using, PM MDD+10.3.9+Keyspan+UDII 12x12, the daemon have to be activated manually. Just double click it and let the Terminal run, don't quit, will do the trick. That's the reason for Ease of Use rated as Neutral. No other problem other than that.

And because it works reliably and is the only choice so far, so 5 star.

    "Great"

    June 26, 2004   |   By IIci

    Version: TabletMagic 1.0b4

    Summary

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
That fixed the starup problem and this version is certainly a 100% improvement over beta02.

I am using my tablet with Photoshop CS, the airbrushing is much smoother with only the occasional sticking (Under OSX since there seems to be so much caching you can hear the drives spinning and writing in tandem with the pen movement). The pressure sensitivity is still a bit full pressure or nothing on either the firm or soft setting.

I know its early days and the program is making great progress, be great in future versions if dual monitor support and Apple Inkwell implementation can be included.

Thanks for the swift answer and keep it up!!

    Great idea!

Gives basic functionality of my A4 Oversize Artpad II.

Photoshop is a little sluggish when airbrushing, and I would like to see dual monitor support in updated releases.

Many thanks for having the ability to do what we were all thinking and knew could be done.

Wacom you could have done this yourself and sold the driver package to keep customers happy

    "ADB to come?"

Thank god someone is finally doing something about this. I'm DYING for your ADB release! Nothing like staring at big expensive tablet collecting dust because Apple and Wacom refuse to support ADB to USB products, even though us graphic people account for the majority of their business. Silly. Just plain Silly. Waiting anxiously for the ADB release! Oh, any clue on weather it would work for a KB Gear Jam Tablet? I have one of those as well I use on an older OS 9 machine that is actually a little larger than my wacom.. i've attatched it to the new G5 and it sees it and works except that the pressure is WAY too sensitive and no button recognition. Thanks again for the effort!
