TMPGEnc MPEG Editor 3 is a powerful yet easy-to-use MPEG editor software package. It is easy to use for novice users who know little about video, yet has advanced features for more seasoned users. It has an easy 4-stage process: start a new/old project, choose and edit your source files, select an output format, and output your video. And now you can burn your edited MPEGs to Blu-ray Disc (BDAV) and DVD-Video. Specialized import tools allow the user to import video from their HDV camcorder, DVD's (copy-protected DVD's not supported), DVD-VR and DVR-MS file types. Standard MPEG files are also supported. It is also optimized for Intel Core 2 Duo/Quad processors.

What's new in this version:

Added - Dolby® Digital 5.1 output support (Starting from this version you cannot output multiple Dolby Digital streams at a time. Ex: When outputting with the Batch encode tool or using several instances of TMPGEnc MPEG Editor 3 simultaneously).

Added - AAC 5.1 channel input suppport.

Added - Possibility to force a given AAC source channel mode in the Property window of a clip.
