• Very good malware & spyware remover

  Pros

  Great program. Detection is so extreme, while scanning my PC it found malware in notepad files and some JPG picture files. Wowww!!! Didn't even know that is such an Anti-Malware program actually available.

  Cons

  Configuration is poor. Realtime Protection not available. Scanning could be a little more faster.

  Pros

  Easy to install, setup and use. Intuitive interface. Fast scans, and reasonably accurate with ability to overide or deselect the threats detected prior to cleansing.

  Cons

  It would be great if it had an option to "Ignore Always" on the scans, so that known false items could be avoided in the future.

  Summary

  A very strong Malware Cleaner, plus a low resource, and easy to use program. I highly recommend it, but would also keep using the classic scanners such as Spybot and Adaware.

  Pros

  I've got XP and an older computer with limited memory. TC spy has a feature that allows me to sweep my history, and all sorts of stuff out without running a scan. I use that feature a few times per day...keeps my computer running smooth. The sweep is VERY fast.

  Pros

  If you can Identify what is and is not a spyware program from the list than this program will work great for you. If your an average user I wouldn't reccomend this to you. Still It's a good program.

  It works on older w98, but won't work on XP. The sides of window won't enlarge to view full screen. Plus it tried to change my homepage. It also had dumped an installer program on my computer that I can't get rid of, removal programs don't even register it!!!
