"Legacy baggage but still occasionally need it"
Version: StuffIt Expander 2011.15.0.2
Pros
Unstuffs items that were Stuffed with Stuffit.
Cons
While earlier versions of the Expander software managed to stay out of your way, the latest version likes to hang around after you're finished with it reminding you how much you can't wait until no one ever uses Stuffit to compress anything ever again.

"Well, I heard they were giving out free samples"
Version: StuffIt Expander 2011.15.0.2
Pros
I really liked the flavor. I mean it tasted really good. The one I got I think was chocolate cherry.
Cons
The box was very hard to open. I actually sliced some of my arm hair off in the process. The Styrofoam peanuts went everywhere, but my grandparents had fun with the bubble wrap.
Summary
If you ever go to Cancun, don't drink the water. You'll be squirting chili sauce in your pants for weeks on end! Don't be a stranger, and save me some candy for Halloween.

Version: StuffIt Expander 2011.15.0.2
Pros
Easy to load. Opens files automatically when double clicked.

"Stuffit incompatible with Mac OSX 10.7 Lion"
Version: StuffIt Expander 2011.15.0.2
Pros
Can't tell because the Mac OSX 10.7 Lion won't let me use it!
Cons
Can't tell because the Mac OSX 10.7 Lion won't let me use it!
Summary
CNET needs to report which Mac O/S is compatible, with every Mac program CNET - provides, before downloading ANY software they promote.
Worked well on prior O/S downloads until OSX 10.7 Lion
This is especially important with so many OSX 10.7 Lion incompatible software. A small note would suffice if the offering is not compatible.

"Does the job well"
Version: StuffIt Expander 2011.15.0.2
Pros
Free and is best for my Mac
Cons
None - but a pity it doesn't still come with Macs

Had it since Mac OS 8 - very reliable - updates keep on top. Don't use it often but very handy when needed. Recommend Stuffit Deluxe for overall flexibility.
