I thought this program was too hard to do anything with. I don't mean it's too complicated, I mean the interface is badly designed and it takes too many steps to get it to show what I want or to customize it. Plus, it's way too expensive for what you get.

This software is beautiful, fast, and extremely accurate. Perhaps the most notable feature as regards user friendliness is the sheer variety of ways to accomplish the same thing: context menus, keypresses, or dialogs: not many programs boast this sort of consideration for the various working methods found among different users. The best of these ideas, IMO, is the flexible context menu system - in both the sky display and many of the other 'departments'. Stella's interface is fluid in use and very forgiving. I'm not surprised that this program has achieved the download count it has, since it is one of the best astronomy programs I've tried. There are no better programs out there for the money, not even among the many freeware offerings. Well done, Coeli!
