Here's a download tool a step above the rest. Star Downloader Pro includes a rich set of features that not only speeds downloads but also makes it easy to schedule and manage downloads. The program includes all the needed elements: good browser integration, seamless resumption of interrupted downloads, simple scheduling, and automatic sorting of files based on type or download date. We liked the program interface, as it's well-designed and intuitive. To start downloading, all you have to do is click the appropriate link in your browser (Internet Exporer, Mozilla Firefox, and Opera are supported) or copy a link to the program clipboard. A special program tool helps manage multiple downloads. For example, when downloading multiple files (such as images) from a Web page, Star Downloader extracts all the needed links, filters them, and then sets up an efficient queue for download. Overall, this is a reliable program that is a good bet for speedy downloads.Publisher's description

Cons: Dear developers, do you use this product with FireFox? This product works very not stably.

Dima_R which gives all download managers 1 is absolutelly uncompetent and seems never tries them at all.

"One of the single best download manager I have ever used."
Pros: Great speed increase, this product will definately increase your downloads ALOT. Browser Integration - It works with many different browsers including IE, Firefox, Mozilla, Opera, Avant, MyIE2, and a few more. The download manager also has a self extracting utility built in (you never need to use winzip to open a download again!) and can auto install your .zips if you choose to let it.
Some of the other people were arguing that the download manager is too good at times which is not the case, because if star downloader ever accedently catches a download, you could turn off the browser integration. This is a feature I never see in other download managers.
Cons: Lightning Download is a bit faster. (Don't get confused though, Star Downloader is much better in terms of featurs and generally overall.)

"Has No UNINSTALLER! Cheap, crappy, crappy crappy."
Pros: I like nothing about it, it cost me a heck of a lot of time.
Cons: It simply does not run well on any of our computers. Brain lock, missed downloads. Darned dialogues can't be removed from the right click lists. Just lousy all the way around.
