Version: SpeedOptimizer 3.0.9.5
"Avoid like the plague - however DAP works great"
Pros: Appears to work ok. Appearances can be deceiving.
Cons: 1) Kills Microsoft Office 2000
2) Doesn't uninstall cleanly.
a) Installation / uninstallation requires going to the web.
b) Installer puts SpeedOptimizer in Startup - even though it was deselected during the installation process
c) Never completes uninstallation process (goes off into limbo). System Restore or manual deinstallation appear to be the only solutions.
3) All of the above processes are repeatable.

Cons: Trial version expired - error - can find uninstall log
Summary: Poorly written, or on purpose, I don't care. I will rip it out with Registry edits and try to keep my clients from using worthless programs like this that give other similar programs a bad name.

Pros: It helps me keeping my pc in good health by cleaning registry and such.
Cons: Have not used it for such a long time yet. So far I`m happy with it. I guess you could find things you don`like in any program.
