Every little kid, and many adults, have dreamed of flying through space. This screensaver aims at that audience, providing the illusion of soaring through a solar system rendered in colorful 3D. Unfortunately, the animation leaves something to be desired. Planets and stars do look realistic at times, but fail badly at others--when the Sun turns into a square, for instance, it's hard to keep the illusion alive. The screensaver does not come with a soundtrack, and offers few configuration options for users. Overall, the download could be a good diversion for astronomy buffs, but better, free solar system simulators are available online.

You can switch focus between planets and the sun during flight, or take full control and fly where you want. You will see info on each planet or the sun when you focus on them.
