"not for my hardware & destroys current installation"

Pros: None whatsoever

Cons: Cnet should not have advised software update. Instructions read to first remove existing drivers. New drivers would not install "audio driver files do not suport your computer hardware." Had to re-install from the original Intel motherboard CD.

Summary: See above -- I will no longer follow Cnet's update advice and will cancel their emails.

"unable to download....ever"

Pros: if it worked....the fact that it's free is good

Cons: the RPC Server is ALWAYS "Unavailable" , so i never have been able to use it

Summary: i CAN'T download it , fix the damn server so everyone can download it
