  you cannot save custom dialog windows for future install`s the output window does`nt actually display anything and should be used for the build process and dialog/script coding, so you can view which messages are triggered when a dialoag control is pressed

  Pros

  Very affordable. can script anything. can make anything happen. far more flexible than any MSI product I've ever used. very robust. good documentation. very fast to build IF all you need is a few files installed. The only system I've tried where I could accomplish everything the old WISE Install-builder did.

  Cons

  LUA scripting language Finicky, Fussy, Frustrating. You'll spend hours and hours chasing minute syntax or case errors, with very little help from debug. No Intellisense. They call it intellisense but it's not very helpful. Built in "Action Builder" more trouble than its worth. No debug mode. Can't step through script line by line. Application design too modular and too modal. You have to close one thing before you can open another. Wastes a lot of time. Separate script editor not useful - have to export script, edit, then import again. No way to see entire install script at once. Broken up into many different parts on many different screens.

  Summary

  Like I said, this product is the only one we've found that gives us the total flexibility of the old WISE system. But WISE was just point and shoot and pick actions from a menu. This system requires you to manually create every line - and every line has to be perfect. what took two or three hours with WISE took us two or three DAYS with this system. The end result looked beautiful and worked flawlessly and was very robust, but a couple of programmers had nervous breakdowns trying to deal with its extremely demanding script language, and its very arduous interface. Example... you want to script a dialog screen ... you can't have that dialog screen open to look at it and make changes while you're scripting it. You can't even see the control names while you're scripting it. You have to close it, open the editor. Then close the editor, open the screen. Its back and forth, back and forth. I'm sure LUA s just great for many things but there is absolutely no reason to have a case sensitive language in an install system. Its overkill. For example Debug.Print will work, but Debug.print will not. Every single one of the hundreds of keywords has to be just right. Ultimately, if you have LOTS of time and the patience, it's a very flexible, very powerful system at a great price.

  Ordered product. Then canceled order. Still charged credit card. Been over one month with no word from them. Never received anything from them but they charged me almost $1,000.00. Stay away from these guys.

  You can make a professional setup files using this program, Setup Factory offers unlimited features and actions to users. <p>Easy to use and setup file always looking nice.

  Cons

  The empty setup size without any files included is 1 MB for nothing.
