"Outdated plugin, but way ahead of the curve"
Version: Saft 12.1.2
Pros
this is a PLUGIN (and an iteration of other forms) which allowed Safari users to save their sessions (windows and tabs) through logouts, restarts, crashes, etc. It was the only thing out there for some time. It also had numerous other features.
Cons
The advent of "reopen all windows from last session" command in Safari, and the inclusion, finally, of Extensions to Safari (at least one of which is Sessions, which does part of SAFT's work) makes this plugin obsolete and, perhaps, a security risk.
Summary
Wait until the author migrates this plugin to an extension (if ever). Safari has included many of the functions of SAFT in its regular features, and adding the Extensions layer has made the plugin (and/or separate control app) much less relevant as there are several extensions that allow managing sessions (including Sessions, which does the job much better, simply allowing for the recovery of multiple sessions).
At this point, there is only one other [whining] comment. I have been able to get SAFT to work consistently (unlike the whiner), but it IS sometimes difficult, as the developer is a sole developer with very little capability to respond to support questions, and his slightly arcane update and authentication are a maze that is a little difficult to navigate.
Bottom line, this isn't the best option and, when or until the developer recreates this as an extension, I'd evaluate it only in that context. -
"WARNING: YOU ARE ABOUT TO BE RIPPED OFF"
Version: Saft 12.1.2
Pros
There are no pros. It does NOT work
Cons
IT DOES NOT WORK
Summary
I've used this app for years and paid for each major upgrade including the recent version for Snow Leopard.
It does not work regardless of the information on the website. Furthermore the developer, Haoli-*****, does not respond to emails. AND YET, he did find the time to dispute the Paypal resolution when I asked for a refund.
In essence, Haoli-*****, knowingly took my money for a product that does not work.
I believe that is called stealing. -

Summary
Bought it for the full screen browsing functions but also benefited from various options for pop-up management and crash recovery.

"Cant agree with this"
Version: Saft 12.1
Summary

I cant agree with the last user reviews. I for my part use Saft for a very long time and am berry content with it. I use not very many features but I like the fact, Saft restores all my tabs and window setting after a Safari restart - even enlarged window sizes are restored. The DL-window hides after the dl is ready and the entries are cleared. Hao answered my inquiries always very speedy - so i cant complain at all.

"Agree, it's crap and ripoff"
Version: Saft 12.0.2

I bought it for one purpose and that was to sort bookmarks. I wrote to Li Hao before I purchase and asked that question. He said yes. He is a liar or a con artist. After several emails, one in which he advised me to use the right mouse button (come on it's a Mac), I gave up.
You got my money Li Hao, hopefully others will not make the same mistake. -
"Don't waste your time"
Version: Saft 12.0.0 Public Beta 5
Pros
No pros...
Cons
Once installed, it does NOT launch and keeps crashing before it opens.
Summary
It's not even worth it if it was free. I've downloaded this program before with similar results, but was hoping the newer version would work. Oh well.
And yes, I have updated everything on my computer so there should be no problem on my end.

Version: Saft 12.0.0 Public Beta 4
Pros

Cons
A PAIN IN THE @SS TO GET RID OF! have to go in to terminal to change stuff, then delete stuff, then go back to terminal, then go to root library delete more stuff, NO UNINSTALL!
Summary
honestly i dont know what its used for, i thought the full screen browsing would be cool, didnt even get to use that before the nag nag nagging starter, every time you open safari, and then every 30 minutes after that! with enough research you can find out how to get rid of it, but there is no simple uninstall, dont put this terd on your mac.....

"No longer worth it"
Version: Saft 12.0.0 Public Beta 2
Summary
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
Saft used to be pretty good - back in 2005 or so. Since then absolutely NO new features have been added and you always had to pay an upgrade price when the Mac OS was upgraded. Now Apple has made it more difficult for developers to plug into Safari and this is one of the main reasons Saft will quickly be a thing of the past. The usage of Saft as a Safari launcher was always a bad idea and now it seems that this is the way chosen by the developer to 'support' 64bit. Unfortunately it is a very convoluted way of handling it and it works poorly - unlike other programs like '1Password', which is an excellent example of how plugging into Safari in SL is still possible.
I would avoid this program - it has no future. It's better to wait for freeware alternatives like 'Glims' to catch up. -
