Used SE-Explorer for Windows?
Editors’ Review
This bare-bones files manager gives you tools to keep tabs on your files and folders. Novice users will appreciate its ease of use, but more experienced users might want more file synchronization options.
SE-Explorer's user interface design is as basic as it gets, but it's fairly easy to navigate. The tab style makes it easy to view the File Manager and any File Tasks that you created. Using the side-by-side panels, we were able to compare files and folders. Using the file search feature, we were able to quickly search for and find specific files. Options are few and included selecting the file types you want to include, and how to display the interface window. The program doesn't have any kind of file synchronization feature, which might disappoint more experienced users. Also, we did encounter a glitch that caused the program to shut down and stop working for us in one test, but it proved to be an isolated occurrence.
In terms of a Help feature, SE-Explorer offers a few tips and tricks, but that's about it. This isn't the most robust file manager on the market, but novices will appreciate its freeware status and simple operation.
