Pros
Will let you change anything and everything in software such as Flash, Flash projectors and many other windows exe files. Works perfectly in windows 7 64. Althougth it may initially look daunting, its a very easy to use utility and with limitless potential. If you are looking for this you must obviously have some knowledge of resource files and should have no problem with it. It gives your final project a professional customize look.
Cons
No much of instructions, and not for the weak of programming knowledge. Hate to see it not supported anymore.

Pros
This is the must have program to change windows 7 startup sound. Search "change windows 7 startup sound" for instructions. It can also be used for all kinds of other stuff.

This program can kill windows if used incorrectly.

Don't use if you don't know what you're doing, otherwise you'll end up having to reinstall windows.

Don't have Vista Visual Master etc. for making themes? backup explorer then edit for one FREE! Can't seem to get old programs into a newer version of Windows? Reshacker is here! Want to change the images, titles, etc. in a program INCLUDING Windows? RESHACKER IS HERE! It can do anything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The best software around for editing a computer! Regedit = to complicated, even for a PC wiz like me.

Very risky, but hey, take that risk for editing a computer anyway, right? This software can be used illegally, other then changing things then selling them. You can edit serial key strings and once you are not connected to the web install programs free!

I saw a video on You Tube about using Windows Media Player 9 and 10 on Windows 7 by using this product to edit the files. And WMP 9 and 10 did run on Windows 7 in that video. So I was tempted to get this to run WMP 9,Outlook Express and other Windows XP software that you cannot install or run on Windows 7. But I was not sure how safe it is. For amateurs like me,if you hack the wrong program file you could damage Windows making Windows not working. And then you will have to reinstall Windows.So this is only for those who know what they are doing.

This program is excellent at editing applications + DLLs as well as .scr screensavers. Automatically saves a copy of the original file (Automatic CYA)
Cons
Took a little while to learn, version info will not update with XP SP3. Could use some extra filetype compatibility
Summary
Its a quite valuable program, I have associated my DLL files with Reshacker by default. Play with it a bit until you get the hang of it. Like I said it saves the original files automatically, so you can't do too much harm with the right files.
