• Good, but not exactly doing what i need

  It's easy to convert files. And you can convert multiple files at the same time

  Cons

  Could have some improvement on the GUI (it should retain the last output parameters). Doesn't support multiple layers really well.

  I was hoping to convert a multi-layer PSD file to any Tiff (which also support multilayer), or any other format in multiple files... but it didn't do it

• Not what it claims to be

  Absolutely none.

  Cons

  The download file was called "DownloadDemo.asp," so I was immediately suspicious of it.

  Summary

  After the setup ran, it asked me things that had nothing to do with converting images, at least as far as I could tell. Nothing intuitive about it. I guessed my way through the 2 interogative screens, then it displayed the results as if I were looking at binary content through a text editor; in other words, nothing like the download.com displayed image of the alleged control panel. I don't know if "Rentasoft..." was hacked or whatever, but it does not do as it claims, or at the very least, it doesn't do it in a way that makes any sense (FWIW, I'm a computer programmer with over 30 years of experience, including a sideline business of installing/modifying computers). Don't bother with this program.

  Pros

  I particularly like that I can put a document or book in my scanner, save the resulting jpeg, right-click on it to open this program, and convert it to a perfect text pdf. It works fine with Foxit even though the button says Adobe PDF.

  Cons

  Hardly a Con, but I had to make a desktop shortcut (it only opens the instructions) just to remind me the program is hidden in my system, LoL.

  I was wary when saw that the software had no publisher, and thought about not downloading it. I was right, because the next thing I know, my antivirus (avast!) starts behaving weird. I spent the better part of today reformatting and re-installing stuff. Don't take your chances.

  The software should be able to remember the last type of conversion. This would spare time. Now you have allways to mark witch type of conversion is desired.
