  Pros

  Have been looking for software that would enable me to rename hundreds of files with specific unique names, preferably from a file. This allowed me to copy the targeted file names into Excel, work up the corresponding new names, paste them back in and rename them all in a snap. I renamed over 1,000 files with uniquely assigned 10-character files with corresponding 13-character files names in a matter of minutes.

  Would like to be able to simply upload a prepared file with the new names, but this still works better than anything else I've tried.
