Pros
Easy to use.
Has every unit conversion you could possibly need.
Cons
Maybe too many units. Would be nice to allow user to hide unneeded units. For example, I don't really need a conversion for attajoules or megaliters.
Summary
Just about every unit conversion you could ever need. I would only make one change for full five-star rating: I think it would be nice to be able to hide units that we never need, to reduce having to scroll through all those extra unit conversions.

The UnitConverter.exe file IS the program: SAVE it anywhere on your computer and run it from there or create a shortcut to it.
Pros
well organized, easy to use
Cons
Does not have important dimensional quantities, such as viscosity
Summary
There are much better converters; e.g., Sporlan Valve Unit Converter, which are much more comprehensive

There are actually two categories for Viscosity! One dynamic and one kinematic... Many categories (that are used mostly by advanced users) are not visible by default - you can enable them under Preferences!

Go to Edit >> Preferences >> Visible Categories tab to enable all the other categories (like viscosity) that are hidden.
Pros
Great tool to have. all mesuarments on hand as needed
Cons
found none at this time
Summary
Recommended for users on field service and school.

Pros
I'll never know. Looks like it was the best of the bunch of the free converters, with some good features such as Search
Cons
Downloaded it twice, each time it appeared on my screen but after one use it was gone & I couldn't open it again. XP Search found 3 or 4 files but none opened anything. Contact screen on maker's website is for business customers.

This program doesn't install - the UnitConverter.exe file IS the program: you can save it anywhere on your computer and run it from there or create a shortcut to it.
Pros
This is an excellent unit converter. It's small, fast, and converts just about anything you can think of. Oh, and it's freeware.
Cons
Uh, the *only* con I can think of? There's no Linux version. 3 of my 4 computers now run Ubuntu, and I wish I had this on Ubuntu.
Summary
You won't find a better converter than this. This is an excellent program, and I thank the creator of it for sharing it!

Pros
Just the product I needed as I was born and lived in the USA on the non-metric system and now I am retired and living in Baja, Mexico and on the full metric system.
Cons
My only problem with the product was ME. I didn't realize it was so customizable until I checked out the third tab in preferences.
Summary
You should have this product, whether or not you are retired :-)
