Copy and paste text and free it from all formatting.
PureText (64-Bit) only removes rich formatting from text. This includes the font face, font style, font color, paragraph styles (left/right/center aligned), margins, character spacing, bullets, subscript, superscript, tables, charts, pictures, and embedded objects. However, it does not modify the actual text. It will not remove or fix new-lines, carriage returns, tabs, or other white-space. It will not fix word-wrap or clean up your paragraphs. If you copy the source code of a web page to the clipboard, it is not going to remove all the HTML tags.
Can't get it to open/install on my Win7 64-bit desktop.

Pros
This could be helpful when copying & pasting into MS Word. I would no longer need to paste into a text editor and then copy/paste again.
Cons
Downloaded, extracted PureText.exe, double clicked, and got nothing. Tried again, this time right-clicking and selecting 'Open'. Again nothing.

PureText _DID_ install...it works in the background.
Stripping of formatting occurs when pasted. So, use CTRL-C/CTRL-X to copy, & CTRL-V to paste WITH formatting OR WIN-V to paste WITHOUT formatting.
