Anyone who knows anything about sales can tell you that there's much more to the process than simply approaching a potential customer, making your pitch, and hoping for the best. There are specific steps in the sales process, and the better you can manage the events in each of these steps, the better your results. Pipeliner is a comprehensive tool that can help sales professionals keep track of every step along the way, from the initial contact with a potential client to closing the deal.
The program's interface is sleek and attractive; it's made for professionals and its appearance reflects that. It's fairly intuitive for anyone who's familiar with the concept of sales pipelines, but beginners may need to consult the comprehensive built-in Help file. The interface is split into seven columns: Contact, Verify, Evaluate, Offer, Agree, Contract, and Closed. Simply double-click in a column to create a new opportunity; the Opportunity panel lets you select an account and record a description, contact information, and a closing date. For each opportunity you can enter tasks (and set reminders), manage account information, and view the opportunity in an organizational chart that shows relationships between the opportunity and involved parties. You can move opportunities between the different steps in the pipeline by simply dragging and dropping them. A timeline view gives a quick overview of upcoming closing dates, and a built-in address book lets you keep track of important contacts. The licensed version of the program comes with a full complement of reporting tools. Whether you're an independent contractor or manage a whole sales team, Pipeliner has plenty of tools to help you increase efficiency and make your sales forecasts more accurate. It's worth trying, and many users will likely find it's worth buying, too.

"Looks Perfect, but No Install File"

Looks like exactly what I was seeking

The zip file has no setup file that i could find so it was a huge disappointment to not be able to install and try it out.
Summary
I have unfortunately, WIN7 as my OS, maybe a problem in that area as it has so many problems anyway. But I was unable to locate a "setup" or exe file to install the program.

I have never seen such an intuitive product that simplifies my everyday sales. There is no product on the market that can compare to this. The new lead management tool is top, document attachment per simple drag and drop.....top!!!

Can't even think of anything at the moment.
Summary
Anyone who is involved in sales needs to see this tool. It is intuitive, easy to learn and, most of all, helps me organize my everyday business with all my sales reps (have 8 of them).
In regards to the AIR comment, I have never had a resource or security problem with it. It works perfectly fine and provides less problems than any other web-based solution. It runs perfectly on our macs and windows environments.
The AIR application makes this a real offline client for the team solution. I have the data with me all the time, even when travelling. NO windows product can offer that!!!

If you are concerned about your system resources and security, avoid air based products..... it's too bad, this seemed like it might be a good program.

Very intuitive opportunity tracking system, outstanding graphical design, smart pipeline and last but not least exceptional dynamic target.
Cons
Missing lead methodology, availability to attach files to the opportunity and missing any software integration (I use MS Dynamics).
Summary
Among the main pros of pipeliner I see in its the very smart and intuitive work-flow of the opportunities. As a freelancer I need to track my opportunities very quickly and many times I need to add wide range of information to it. In pipeliner, every opportunity has its own "action panel" where can I add all needful data.
The great feature is also "Dynamic Target" which is connected to the opportunities. After setting up my target I can see immediately the contribution of oppt to the target based on their position in pipeline. btw. using drag-&-drop system you are moving oppt through the pipeline!!!
I just have to recommend pipeliner to every freelancer, because this tool has already saved me a lot of time. -

It is easy to use, helps you organize all your opportunities and gives me a constant overview of where I am standing. The visualization us unbelievable and it is quicker than any tool I have ever used. The offline function is great.
Cons
I hope a mobile solution will come quickly to. This would give the product even more flexibility to that it already has.
Summary
I can only suggest this tool to any sales person out there. I have worked in the industry for almost 20 years and this is exactly what this market needed. A flexible tool, with a quick overview and the possibility to constantly have the feeling of security knowing that you have complete control of your sales.
The reporting and the dashboards are fantastic and interactive. The dynamic targets let gives a perfect overview of what is happening in the pipe and where I stand.
The "real" offline functionality gives me the chance to always have my data available anywhere I go without needing an internet.
Keep up the good work! I look forward to the next exiting releases!!! -
