Publisher's description of Picasa Webalbums Assistant
Allow you to download entire albums or parts of albums from Picasa Web albums. Download public albums buy entering the UserID of the owner. Download private albums by pasting an invitation URL. Includes thumb nailed previews of the pictures with check boxes to select only the pictures you want to download. Written in Java (5.5 or above required) using the Google API Java Client Library. Version 0.3 has image size and album scroll bar bug fix, slightly update user interface.

"Great tool for picassa picture download with actual resolution"
Pros: The interface in simple
light wt
continuous download with no unwanted questions asked
just download silently in required location
Cons: 1)horrible looking GUI have to improve the look
2)can give additional features
thts it everything is fine w.r.t to the simplicity it provides . really great work coder......

"Best available utility to download Picasa Web Albums, till date!"
Pros: 1. Does what it says... elegantly!
2. Possible to open multiple instances and download multiple albums simultaneously
3. No install required (ofcourse, except for Java)
Cons: Would like to see some improvements..
1. Scrolling from top to bottom, rather than left to right in thumbnail view
2. Thumbnails are a bit small
3. Option to see more thumbnails at one glance (only 3 rows visible at a time, even if the window is resized + file names can be below the thumbnail, saving space)
4. Download speed indicator would be a good addition
5. Option to download/queue multiple albums in single interface would be cool

Pros: no nonsence software.. doest exactly what its suppose to do :-)
Cons: no cons.. yet :-) my 5 star rating to Bradley :-)
but try adding multi album download facility

"Better than anything else... look no further!"
Pros: "Wow"-level wonderful! I was initially against the program because I thought - why bother with a java program? Most good apps are native Windows apps, so I looked around a lot, but couldn't find anything!
After using your program I can see why nothing else exists!!!!

Pros: Lets you easily download Picasa albums to your system. Works with both public albums and private invitataion URLs.
Cons: It would be nice if it would also download photo captions as well.
