  Easy screening of callers, easy recording as needed, visual voicemail.

  Cons

  No big deal. Audio recording isn't as sophisticated as the combinaiton of Skype and Audio Hijack Pro.

The software primarily fixes bugs - in other words, pay the upgrade fee and maybe the hardware will work the way you though you were getting when you paid for it before. This product is a RIPOFF.

I'm sure I'll think of missing features, but I like what I've seen so far. I can see this being incredibly beneficial to a small business. It might be overkill for my home use, but I love it. It is very functional, and dare I say, fun. I've set it up to ring through friends and other known numbers at certain times of the day, or to go to voicemail early in the morning with an option to ring through if it is important enough to wake me up. I've set it up so callers of unknown numbers have to press a number to ring through, otherwise they are routed directly to the voicemail. My phone never rings with an unwanted call anymore! I also get e-mails when I'm at work and somebody leaves a message on my home phone. And certain people get personalized voicemail greetings. Some say it is creepy, but I know they love it! :)

  This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />I have been having problems trying to configure Phonevalet Anywhere. I've gone back and forth with emails and am getting nowhere. At Macworld I met the owner and told him about my problems. I said his instructions on his website were difficult to understand, especially for a novice like me. His response to that was, "That's a fair comment." He said that configuring is confusing, but that if someone were knowledgeable on the subject it should take about three minute to set up Anywhere. I asked him if I could call him directly and have him walk me through it. His reply was, "Not really." I've spent $169.95 for the software and $59.95 for Anywhere and that is all I get.

If you call them with problems they won't talk to you. You must email them your problems. Considering the cost of this product and the fact that they charge for software upgrades on a piece of hardware, they is pretty poor.

Works great, easy to setup even the most complicated of menu tree's. A full blown PBX system that rivals hardware costing 10X the price. We just ditched our Cisco PBX for phonevalet. It just works! I still hope they include a few more features: Dashboard widget for Call Activity, more page-hold features while caller is holding (Run applescripts during hold music).

Although, expensive (for me), I could not have purchased a better system from a more wonderful company ~ one that delivers solid support for its products. The owner of the company has written me on weekends when I had questions about the product. He has gone overboard to ensure outstanding customer service. I can honestly say from my experience, I've had no better treatment by any other software company. Finally, I don't own stock in the company, I have no relations there. My experience has shown a very useful product . Along with just plain, old fashioned, honest to goodness fantastic customer service on a tremendous product.

  ...Support<br />This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />I've had nothing but good experiences with this product, and on the odd occasion I've contacted customer support, they've been incredibly quick to respond--with an appropriate reply or solution. (e.g. I emailed a question early Sunday and had a response several hours later--<i>on a Sunday afternoon!</i>) I wish all software and support were so good.
