From Jacek Pazera :Pazera Free 3GP to AVI Converter is the freeware application which converts mobile phone video files (3GP and 3G2) into AVI or MPG (MPEG-1, MPEG-2). 3GP and 3G2 files are commonly used in the modern mobile phones, but they are not supported by Windows Media Player and other popular media players. To display 3GP/3G2 video you need to convert that file into more reliable format, such as AVI or MPG.
Version 1.3 has new version of the FFmpeg encoder and support for XP visual styles.

Pros: Simple and quick, I used the default settings and it worked great! It converted a cell phone 3g2 video to an MPG.
Cons: I didn't find any cons.

"Didn't work for Motorola 3GP..."
Pros: I don't know, I only needed this for Motorola conversions.
Cons: Doesn't work for Motorola Razor video files.
Summary: Can't say if it works for other stuff but not for what I needed. Ended up downloading the best rated user review here at CNET, It worked. I think it was called Factory Audio converter, or something like that, I left a review anyway.

"Lacks an Installer, but works exactly as it should."
Pros: Quick, 100% free with no "gimps" or "forced lower quality" like some of the other tools out there
Cons: No installer, have to extract the zip file to a folder and run the tool.
Summary: Technical users won't have any problems with this software, a new or not computer savvy user might have some issues.
