Payroll Mate is a comprehensive payroll software that fits the needs of accountants and small to medium size businesses. Payroll Mate automatically calculates net pay, federal tax withholding, Social Security tax, Medicare tax, and calculates user defined state and local taxes. Payroll Mate also supports different types of pay periods, prints checks, prepares forms 941, 944, 940, W2 and W3. This payroll software also supports user-defined Income, Tax, and Deduction categories.
Version 5.0.85 adds support for MICR Check Printing, direct deposit, Printing W2 Forms on regular white paper, calculating incomes and deductions by mile and per piece, and updated for tax year 2009.

Pros: simple to use
Cons: found nothing yet but may later on if you can send me a replacement software that my computer did when Vista whiped out my hard drive. Allan Guy LUPONE
