Publisher's Description
From Bergen Street Software:
Previously known as CopyPath. PathSnagger adds a Contextual Menu Item option to the Contextual Menu in the Finder. Control-click a document, application, folder, mounted volume, zip disk, anything, and easily copy the full path to that item directly to your clipboard!
What's new in this version:
- Because it's a beta, some of the ease-of-use isn't there yet. So it's a totally manual installation right now.
- PS is now a service, not a contextual menu plugin. You'll need to remove the contextual menu plugin, and place the service in ~/Library/Services.
- You will want to replace the preference pane with the new one. You can just double-click the preference pane and it will auto-install. Make sure System Preferences is not running, or it will probably crash. See all new features

"Unfortunately not working for me"
Version: PathSnagger 2.0b2
Pros
I will like it a lot when I get it working.
Cons
I don't have it working yet.
Summary
I'm a computer tech for our school district. I have three 10.6.4 machines and I haven't gotten PathSnagger 2.0b2 to work on any of them yet. It could certainly be me. I used previous versions with great success. It is very useful for copying a particular path and emailing it to a user just to say "Go here." I'll keep trying.
Patience is a virtue. I deleted all traces of Pathsnagger, prefs, pref pane, services, the works and reloaded it. It is right back on top again with 5 stars.
