CNET Editors' review
This small utility promises to reveal masked passwords for applications and Web sites, but we weren't impressed by its performance or features. Password Discovery's pared-down interface couldn't be easier to use. To disclose passwords, simply open a login window and drag the program's prominently offered magnifying glass icon over the password field. You'll be able to view the hidden text on the program's main window. While we like the simplicity of the approach, we weren't as satisfied with the results. When the program worked, the results were quickly revealed and appeared accurate, although the trial version only displays the first two characters. Too often, however, Password Discovery wasn't able to unmask the password in our tests. Other limitations include its inability to work with any browser except Internet Explorer and the lack of print or copy options to save your password information once it's revealed. With its sporadic performance, we suggest users look for a password recovery program with a better return rate than Password Discovery has to offer.Publisher's Description
From 46Soft:
Password Discovery is a tool to recover lost or forgotten passwords on almost every windows program and web site (Internet Explorer Only). All passwords are recovered instantly. It doesn't use Brute Force attack so you don't have to wait more than half second to recover your password. It can also be a great help to make sure you type a password correctly.
