Program for creating perfect panoramic photos. This program was designed to stitch multiple photos taken from hand without using a tripod. The non-horizontal panoramic photos are automatically bended to fix the deformation. The transition area can be easy edited. Limited size of created panoramic picture.
Totally failed to stitch two photos never mind more. It comes loaded with bloatware like a tool bar that installs without asking, changes your home page and does other stuff that make it difficult to un install. Guess getting spam it the new cost of free.
Summary
Dont waist your time with this one.
Waste of time. Absolutely could not get it to stitch.
CASchryver
Pros
Consistent. That is, consistently gives the wrong results.
Cons
Never worked - not once.
Summary
This program could not stitch two pictures together. Not once. Granted, perhaps it's more for photos, but I see no reason why it shouldn't be able to stitch together two scanned halves of the same image. No matter what I did, it would try to put them together backwards. You'd think there might be some setting to adjust that, but the only thing I found was during the "open" procedure where it asks if you want normal or reverse. Mind you, this is done without any kind of preview or anything. When you select your photos, they must be done at one time (Control+click) and you have no idea is what order it's trying to work with them. I very consistently clicked one and then the second and moved forward and tried both options (normal and reverse). Failure. Tried loading the files in the other order and tried both normal and reverse - failure. So, it's been uninstalled and my search continues. How anyone (besides the author and his friends) could rate this more than one star is beyond me.

Junk - don't bother
techon707
Pros
none that I could fine unless you count free but I consider a waste of time in my case.
Cons
unintuitive; Adjustments don't show live preview so results unpredictable for adjustments.
Summary
I didn't have time to mess around with it - I needed a quick result, and this didn't give it, so I moved on to one of the several other freebees that render results. Probably not fair of me to "1-star" a pkg without more testing. Sum it up to say if you are looking for a fast result with a photo series that is not shot perfect initially, skip this one.
Terrible uninstalled

Pros
none I saw
Cons
Auto stitching didn't work very well and the "Lite" version degrades the image to much. Uninstalled right away.
Summary
far more versatile than any other i've tried.
mphillips--2008
Pros
Fixes lightness and straightens really well.
Cons
Takes longer to use than other products like panoramamaker or easystitch but works betterthan those too. Does not deal quite so well with missing objects - eg someone walks through the overlap area during shooting.
Summary
I usually do handheld pans and so often get pans curved up or down, this program fixes these best of any i've used. Also, lighting often changes during pans and this blends pics together better than others ive used.
Haven't yet figured how to or if its possible to select an object, which is in the overlap area on one pic but not the next eg a person who has moved away, to be in or out of the final pan. However, this is a very good product.
Lot of features. Lite edition imposes logo in the corner.
silentstoryteller
Pros
The deformation and warping tools help cover for imperfections in panorama frames. It has a host of other features and the interface is very intuitive. Good documentation.
Cons
A beginner might find the options too many to deal with at once. The Lite version places a logo in the bottom right corner of the stitched panorama image, which effectively made it unusable for me.
Summary
Simple yet powerful photo stitching tool.

Pros
If you want to create good panoramic pictures from multiple photos then this app is for you. It provides you with all the necessary tools to stitch your photos.
<p>Almost seamless results are possible with a little care.
<p>
<p>Reading the Quick Guide while tackling your first attempt is recommended and will almost certainly let you appreciate the power behind the deceptively basic front end. The beauty behind this app is the level of control it gives you at every stage of the process. For example, after it has created the panorama it allows you to correct the horizon level across the whole panorama - perfect for correcting a seascape picture where a level horizon is critical. Giving you all the control might seem like hard work but the results will be all the better with some perseverance.
<p>
<p>The 'Lite' version scales your pictures down, however they are still a respectable size, especially if you don't intend to produce large prints from them. The finished picture files can be saved in .jpg, .bmp or .tif formats.
<p>
<p>Well worth downloading - and using!
Cons
The app requires you to specify all source pictures for the panorama up front, you can't add or delete pictures after you have started working on the panorama. However, this is a minor point and one easily overcome with a little care.
Summary
Takes time to learn but you'll get what you've asked for
GezaGabriel
Pros
Despite it takes time - for me, so i suggest to everyone to focus on the Quick Guide section at help (takes less than 5-10 min :) - to get used to how it works this lite edition was able to charm me.
<p>You can switch from English to Chech and back, too bad there's no possibility to translate onto more languages. Got a short help in html format and licence in pdf (both languages), which is a good idea to avoid easy modifictaions.
<p>You are able to save opened files as a project so you don't have to open all files again if you want to try the image customization several times.
<p>Unique - as far as i know - settings for system resources.
Cons
It'll overwrite previously created panorama pictures without asking or it won't create the file (no messages)?
<p>It'll create a water text on the image's right side.
<p>You are not able to open more projects at the same time and there's no close project function: in this last case i just wonder if you'd be able to open another project next to an already reserved memory or not.
<p>Instead of too much explainations, there should be more sample images as buttons (like at help's Deform width/height picture).
