CNET Editors' review
PandoraMan is a tiny app that lets you run the streaming-music service Pandora outside of--and without even opening--your Web browser.
Using Apple's WebKit engine, PandoraMan runs as a standalone app, and the interface is just a subset of the Flash-based Pandora window that you normally see when you go to the Pandora site: you see your stations, your current music stream, and playback controls, and you are automatically logged in after you first open the app. You can switch and make changes to stations, but if you click on any of the other drop-down features (for example, to search for songs or modify your account), your default browser will open with the appropriate Pandora window.
Being able to run Pandora without (or apart from) your browser can offer all sorts of advantages for some users. For example, you can quit your browser without affecting music playback, and you can send audio output from PandoraMan to speakers through your AirPort using an app like AirFoil without sending all your Safari audio. PandoraMan doesn't offer a lot of extra functionality, but its one, essential shtick is a pretty good one.

"Great!!! Simple and does exactly what I want."
Version: PandoraMan 1.0.19
Pros
Simple little program works great. Web pandora kills my CPU and memory but PandoraMan has small footprint, doesn't kill my CPU, and doesn't grow to monstrous memory pwnage. Love it!
Cons
None really. Does exactly what I want.
Summary
If you are so tired of pandora.com pwning your browser, CPU, and memory, get pandoraMan! I love pandora but hate running it in my browser b/c it kills memory and CPU after a while. Many thanks for the developer! Hopefully pandora doesn't ever find a way to kill this app.
