Separates Pandora from web browser activity
Forgets username and password
controls occasionally freeze
I got annoyed with Pandora's always getting caught up with my other browser activity at work, causing lots of accidental closures, so I downloaded PandoraMan. It was OK, but had a couple of problems. First, on my system (Mac OS 10.6.8), it never remembered my email and password, so I had to enter them every time I started it. Also, I found the controls (Play, pause, thumbs up/down) would sometimes freeze and require a restart - something that never happened fromt he browser.
Then in a face-palm moment, I realized there's more than one browser on my computer. Now I used Safari for Pandora and Chrome for everything else. Now I can't think of any reason to use PandoraMan.
Easy to use and runs pandora with out having to go to it through the browser. i can run the app quickly from the dock and in no time there is music. Great app.
None that I can see.
It runs well on os 10.6.4 with 4 gigs of ram. I do not see any reason not to get this FREE app for your desktop or laptop.
Simple little program works great. Web pandora kills my CPU and memory but PandoraMan has small footprint, doesn't kill my CPU, and doesn't grow to monstrous memory pwnage. Love it!
None really. Does exactly what I want.
If you are so tired of pandora.com pwning your browser, CPU, and memory, get pandoraMan! I love pandora but hate running it in my browser b/c it kills memory and CPU after a while. Many thanks for the developer! Hopefully pandora doesn't ever find a way to kill this app.
