  Cons

  Garbage program that invades your computer as a tag-a-long with something you might have actually wanted. Then when you try to uninstall it like any respectable program you wish to uninstall, it won't let you. Keeps popping up and adding other garbage to your PC. Someone should put a stop to this Horror Show.

  Summary

  I did not willingly download this software. It was embedded in something else that I downloaded. This is not the first time that I have downloaded software from CNET and have found unwanted software on my PC.

  PC Cleaner was offered to correct a problem with a Yahoo pop 3 email account and did nothing to correct that problem or the overall performance of my computer

  The software has created problems twice for me. When I called support I was asked to pay $200.00 for them to help fix what THEIR software broke.

  Summary

  I would like an explanation of why my PC stopped working after running the software that was designed to fix problems and I would have to pay additional funds to have my PC fixed for a problem that was not there before the service. I would like PC Cleaner to reimburse me the funds I paid to a local Microsoft company to fix my PC after the PC Clean corrupted it. The Total Cost was $ 162.72

  You have to call to get it to install. This is a bad product because by design it causes more issues than it fixes.

  And then you need to call their so-called tech support experts (who as it turns out know even less than I do), who'll pretend to try and fix the issue. But after 5 minutes after logging into your PC with logmein123.com, they say say you need to contact a Microsoft Certified tech. So I say great give me the number and guess what... yeah you guessed it, they claim to be MS certified and for just $255.00 they will fix your computer. That's when I pulled the plug on these scam artists.

• SCAM to get more money!

  Nothing becuase I never got the benefit of using what I paid for.

  I purchased and downloaded PC Cleaner Pro 2013 only to be directed by the App to call a 1-800 in order to remotely activate the program..... I knew right then I should not have purchased this program but I called the phone number on the slim chance it was not scam. Well I was right they do all this "impressive stuff" remotely and use scare tatics "see all the errors on your P.C. You are so lucky you haven't had the dreded blue screen!" Then of course after you have already paid the $35.00 download fee they tell you that your PC is so damaged it needs an EXPERT to repair it. They suggest you take it in to Best Buy, Office Depot etc and tell you the cost will be about $350.00... But wait thier EXPERTS can remotely repair your PC for only $250.00. When I explained that I was an intelligent woman and did not appreciate the scam they are running the rep said " Lady you called me." Well of course I did because your program instructed me to do so.

  Summary

  Do not do business with this company! They only want more money after your initial purchase.

  After running it (i) I can no longer copy any portion from Firefox articles - a left click to select a paragraph would result in the page resizing downwards, (ii) it cleans off my saved logon data from one of my trial forex MT4 platforms requiring me to reinstall the platform to retrieve the data, (iii) it deleted all the update files on my life forex MT4 so that I cannot logon due to the platform being an old version, and (iv) when I asked for my money back I was directed to contact the Call center where I waited for 1 hour without my message being answered.

  Summary

  Just a ripoff.

  Might work, but never got a chance to find out. I paid for and downloaded the PC Cleaner standard software and allowed it to scan my comupter. After finding errors, I tried to "Fix All", only to be asked to buy their PC Cleaner Pro to fix errors. In addition, they are a Canadian company so your credit card company will charge you an additional "foreign currency transaction fee"

  Don't waste your time or money.

  Nothing good about this at all.

  Paid for this, will not run and keeps asking me to "purchase" and I have already. Registration number inserted and will not take it..."invalid". Total waste of my money!
