From WoNi Solutions :Tool for exact mirroring of Oracle database Version 8. If the productive host is crashed, the mirror automatically take the role of primary. If the primary is physical reachable, there is no data lost. You can define a Public IP. In disaster, the mirror will get this IP and your clients can already work. You can create as much mirror you want. So, it is possible to let work some mirrors delayed. If some user has deleted i.e. a table by mistake, you can recover the delayed mirror to the time before mistake, and recreate the table. Don't matter about full disk space and table space. The integrated ArchiveLogCleaner delete all unnecessary ArchiveLogs and the MailNotifier send you a mail if hard disks or table space will get full. You can create backups on primary and mirror. Backups on mirror will not stress the primary system. With the integrated scheduler, you can bring up the mirror into ReadOnly-Mode. So you can use the mirror for reporting. No Oracle EE needed. Mirroring stop every hour with a license massage.
