CNET Editors' review
This application provides cleaning of some online and offline tracks, though its stability is questionable.
NetConceal AntiHistory's elementary interface cleans some Windows system tracks such as the Recent Documents list, temporary files, and Run/Search history, but strangely doesn't dump the Recycle Bin. You'll be able to delete cookies, temporary Internet files, and index.dat files, among other areas. Support for cleaning a few third-party applications rounds out its cleanup skills, along with options to schedule cleanup at specific times or at system start-up or shutdown.
Unfortunately, each time we hit the Cookie button to selectively maintain cookies, the application locked up and had to subsequently be closed. This 20-day/20-use trial isn't ideal, but for standard cleanings it does the job.
