Pros
Good interface. Works reliably (cannot say this for some equivalent programs, beware!), which I think is ESSENTIAL for database management software. Responsive and quick. Great autocomplete feature helps you make accurate queries and do that much faster - it prompts you with a dropdown selection of possible commands, fieldnames from your DB or whatever is appropriate.
Cons
Very minor issues involving lack of clarity when doing obscure things, easily confused a noob such as myself. These are still better than the competition I looked at though. Costs money, but if you are serious about what you do, buy it. Okay, download a free trial first if you want to.
Summary
The best DB management software I know of, and I tried out PHP MyAdmin, MySQL Workbench, DBNinja, SQLYog pretty thoroughly before being delighted to pay for Navicat. Read reviews of others (Toad, HeidiSQL), looked at bulletin boards - too many problems reported by users.
Great for my works on MySQL, MS SQL and Oracle

Easy operation is a very user friendly, reliable tool solution for Designing, Managing and Automating data bases. Great tool for Transferring data from one server to other is very convenient.

its not free but low prices for full version

Navicat integrates managing databases in a very user friendly interface. The database conversion from other formats to MySQL is seemless. The support of importing MS Access, Excel and many formats to MySQL is my favourite feature.

Navicat 8 DOES NOT support Access 2007 as they advertise. After multiple emails from Navicat support, I got a final message "We will try to improve the situation in future. Thanks for your advice."
Summary
I wasted all week with support that could not help because the technicians did not test what they suggested and it did not work. They used only text from Manual. Never buy the product based on Manual. Use Trial Version before buying.
This free version of Navicat is great..

Connect to localhost or to remote server (you'll need to set your server to accept remote connection). Edit individual records just by entering data. Change table structure. Great program.
Cons
It might take some knowledge to get connected to a remote server. You will need the url of your computer. You will need to tell your server to accept a remote connection (Remote MySql in CPanel). But once you have taken these steps all is easy.
Summary
This puts complete control of your database at your fingertips. Great program. Free!
