Summary: Don't know why Windows 98SE would not install my CD-ROM or accept the drivers that came with it. This file solved the problem and my CD-ROM is finally up and running! THANK YOU!

"Wished I had known about this before."
Summary: Tried 4 days for my old comp. to recognize the cd-rom player. As a last resort went to this site, downloaded the program, click, click, and now it recognizes my cd-rom player. Just marvelous!
