With this application, its one of those cases where your system setup determines how well it works for you. Mz CPU Accelerator automatically changes the priority of foreground applications. Changing settings is easily accomplished through a simple dialog-sized interface. Most users will set it once then forget about it. Anyone could operate this application with only the most cursory glance at the short program manual.
Operation is a mere matter of clicking a simple radio button to choose priority level. You can set the foreground app to Above Normal, High, or Real-time priority. Its just another click to activate the program and a final, but optional, click to send it to the Windows tray. Mz CPU Accelerator will set the chosen priority to any app that is brought to the foreground. It also automatically changes the application to its original priority as soon as a new program is made active. Three radio buttons make it a snap to set Mz CPU Accelerator to run on Windows Startup, activate it, and minimize it.
You may notice programs speed up when using this freeware. A lot depends on your system configuration. At least Mz CPU Accelerator is easy to install and operate. It's also easy to uninstall if you notice no improvements.

Version: Mz Cpu Accelerator 3.0
"Very good addition to any tweaked pc"
Pros: Good UI. Adds the benefits of dynamically allocated CPU priority to good ole Windows. Works pretty well out of the box(and can be tweaked to work even better.
Cons: Sometimes a bit slow in initial response if CPU load is high. Exclusions tab a necessity for some users to learn if user multitasks with certain apps.
Summary: The program does just what it says, with slow and fast machines I tested seeing some benefit. Some of my high end encoding software would bring a couple single core AMD machines I still use to their knees when it came to doing anything else, even we... read more >>

Pros: Excellent for who doesn't have powerful computers, like me, does with that he increases the acting a lot... It increases the priority of the program in use or assets.
Cons: It is not a problem, but an option. If he/she wants to turn some program in second plan with the same priority of the others it had not gotten, best to disable temporarily...
