From Boise Software:
My Journal is a program designed to allow you to capture your life, one day at a time. My Journal is intuitive and easy, yet powerful enough to preserve your memories for years to come. My Journal allows you to pour out your mind and safely tuck it away, safely protected by world-class encryption technology. With this program you will be able to keep track of your daily activities, keep your friends up to date with the Twitter portal, edit blogs on your blogspot account, upload select journal entries to your own website, spread your creative wings with the creative writing module, and much much more. Time is slipping away, don't let it disappear forever.
What's new in this version:
Version 2.0 build 20100115 features spell check optimization, adds time stamp toolbar button to journal editor, changes scapegoat document to .rtf, makes help more substantive.
Installed the program and the additional software it required. That wasn't good enough because the program wouldn't let me create a user. It stubbornly rejected my efforts several times. It obviously doesn't like me. I just hope it likes other people. Maybe it's just full of animosity by nature.
I hate to waste my time on programs like this. People just put rubbish out there and wait for the money to pop into their bank accounts.
I like the format of My Journal, but it's outweighed by it's cons.
It doesn't upgrade the previous version. It cannot open the previous version's files or backups. You cannot even do something as crude as copy/paste from the old version to this version as the old version doesn't permit copy/paste.

Bit unfair to leave a one star rating based on the previous version. The deficiencies of the previous version is the reason for this new version. There is a function in the new version that should let you import all your data from the old version to this one but it appears you didn't notice it.
