What's new in version 1.5.5
Mt. Everything 1.5.5 fixes a possibly crashing bug when it tried to load a driver from disk and the driver was larger than 32K. This bug was due to a compiler bug (the compiler violated type conversion rules according to ANSI C standard) and caused Mt. Everthing to allocate a memory buffer too small to hold the driver and then corrupting the computer's main memory when loading the driver into the far too small buffer. This bug affected the 68K version only but appearantly already existed in version 1.5.3. Fortunately most existing disk drivers still fit into 32K, otherwise I probably would have been flamed with bug reports.
