Developer’s Description

Run Windows programs on your Mac, without Windows.
Runs Windows software on Mac without hassle. Both simple and powerful at the same time! Macindows lets you run many Microsoft Windows programs on Intel-based Apple computers running the Leopard or Snow Leopard operating system. You do not require additional software, including Windows! Macindows is a graphical windows system that makes your Mac work like Microsoft Windows when running Microsoft Windows programs. You therefore don't need any version of Microsoft Windows to run Windows programs on your Intel-based Apple computer. Technically, it combines a Windows-compatible kernel and X11 server processes under one hood. CrossOver from CodeWeavers does the same thing. They are somewhat similar. However, Macindows focuses on performance and ease of use. It goes for fast no-nonsense launching, integrating X11 and Wine server components under the same process; so more efficient than other Wine approaches thus far.
