If you're looking for a robust alternative to Microsoft e-mail, calendar or Internet Explorer, Mozilla's tri-Pack may be the answer.
This download features three Mozilla applications: Firefox (browser), Thunderbird (e-mail client) and Sunbird (calendar). Installation is simple and each program offers familiar configurations that any level user can master in just a minute or two. In our tests, all three applications performed well, responding quickly to clicks and commands. Configuring Thunderbird took only a few clicks and setting up multiple accounts was easy to accomplish thanks to the applications user-friendly commands and dialog boxes. The Help features for each application were thorough and provided clear direction. Setting up one-time and repeated events in Sunbird proved easy to do and we liked the programs feature for categorizing events. Adding fresh categories to the expansive preloaded list also was a simple procedure.
Thanks to the untiring efforts of hackers and spammers, updates for any sort of browser and e-mail client are frequent. So we encourage any user to use the upgrade commands for Thunderbird and Firefox after installing to take care of any bug fixes, viruses or vulnerabilities that have turned up since the Tri-Pack was uploaded. Bottom line, this collection of applications is recommended for any user.
Publisher's description
From PacingApps :Mozilla Tri-Pack is a program that installs all three of Mozilla's main programs. It includes Mozilla Firefox, Mozilla Sunbird, and Mozilla Thunderbird. Firefox is a Web browser, Thunderbird is an e-mail client, and Sunbird is a calendar program. Mozilla is a much more secure platform than Microsoft's products.
An example of this is that Outlook and Internet Explorer are prone to viruses. The Mozilla Products are not. This also makes it so that you do not have to download all of the programs separately. They are all compressed in one convenient file.
