This program is not difficult to use at all. If you need any extra instructions you can view the detailed movie available on the web page. This program has multiple features that are not available in any other program around. The price is right too. THE BEST PROGRAM AROUND!!!

While DVDtheque seemed ok for a freebee app, I needed something more, and Movie Database delivers it, and even more than I was looking for. I was particularly impressed by the built in ability to customize much of the pop up data that can be selected. This allowed me to match the application to my needs very easily and quickly. And the support from the author was within the HOUR, timely and correct. By the end of my first afternoon with this app, I have the best movie database I have ever had, with more data, more pictures, more accuracy, and with less effort than I could have ever believed! $30.00 seemed a bit steep (and maybe it is a little pricey) but, dang! This works and works well! No regrets here! Using on a G5 iMac, 10.3.9

  This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />I have been using Movies Database for about a month. The new version, 1.10 is a great update. The installation was a snap. I was able to download my movies quickly and without any problems. This program, unlike any other program I have seen or used, gives me the ability to choice which of four pretty screen interfaces I can use. In every other program I had to work with only the one choice given. I love the realistic rack system which displays all of my DVD covers. Also I love the ability to download many movie images for each movie I catalog and then select the movieâ??s picture I want to display on my screen; this is something that is not offered by the other cataloging programs. The retrieval of movie starsâ?? biographies and their complete list of the movies that they starred in is only one aspect that separates this program from all the others. I retrieved movies that had won multiple Oscars (Academy Award). All the awards were stated and displayed on the screen with a beautiful Oscar statue. I am given the choice of what order I want to compose my list, such as, whether by year made, alphabetical order, genre, movie title, star, etc.; and this is sorted automatcally by the program.

  This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />I made the mistake and paid the $30.00 for a License even where I felt it is relative high but it seemed to be what I was looking for. WHAT A DISAPOINTMENT. This Database is so underdeveloped that the maker should be fined $30.00 for every License he issued. On an Apple G5, Dual the system crashes or freezes very often, the information, Name or UPC Code do not bring the correct information or is often incomplete, you cannot export, the arrangement of Buttons is so wired that every Apple user would scream. In summary, after loading over 350 Titles with pain and extensive time the system crashed and all but 10 records reminded. WARNING: Any money spend for this database (FileMaker) is wasted. This is the worst program ever on Version Tracker, I am aware of. Overpriced and non-operational. Recommend totally against it. Sorry. I guess the guy spend a lot of time on it and is proud of it but it socks.
