OldCelticHippy- Pros
- Great Menu-Bar clock Will show full date All-around highly configurable
- Cons
- Meridian fails to fully install on Lion It leaves a DMG on the desktop, and if one deletes this DMG, it disappears from one's system completly
- Summary
- Great app. Too bad it fails to fully install
This is SHAREWARE not Freeware
wwelsh1939- Pros
- This is SHAREWARE not Freeware. I did not see anywhere I could just "comment" rather than "review" so I stuck my comment here. And I had to select a star rating so I chose 3 as I only wanted to comment that you'd listed this a Freeware when it's NOT.

- This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
Downloaded easily and I was hopeful, since iClock is full of features I do not need. BUT I simply cannot make Meridian display different clocks on the menu bar - and not show them as large floating faces. As this was the whole point, it is useless. No help that makes sense in Help, No uninstaller is provided.

- This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
Wow - I'm impressed! I've looked at many menu bar clock replacements, timers and alarm clocks over the years and have found a winner! Meridian is a text book example of a beautifully crafted Macintosh application. It's very flexible and sports a sizeable list of genuinely useful features all wrapped in an efficient, intuitive and uncluttered user interface.
$22.00- An Incredible Value

- This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
I live in Japan. I need to talk to people in Hawaii, the Netherlands, Germany, California. Now I can make make labeled clocks on my desktop with the date and time. A completely resizable 'egg timer' that i can see from 40 feet away. This program gets so much so right. Probably best part is that the clocks are just part of the desktop i don't have to have annoying floating windows or search to activate the program just Expose' and i know the time and day for each of the people I am talking too. A brilliant program. If you, like me, need to know what time it is in Cologne or London RIGHT NOW then stop reading and download this program. It is near perfect. I suggest to the reviewer below it's not worth $22.00 to him, but mac os x does come with a free menu clock. I'm assumning this program would not even be worth $1.00 to him. Don't review programs you don't intend to buy. But the program is named Meridian not menu clock and is the clock program of my dreams. Trust me I have tried and paid for a number of clock programs. If you don't need a clock program, don't buy one. But when you flame a great program like this, it makes it really hard for people who actually need one to find good programs. I assume you have never paid for a clock program. I have paid for three, all of which cost about the same, and seemed a fair value. This is a phenomenomally useful program which saves time everyday. Don't review programs you don't intend to buy. Seriously, I never thought any program would be this useful to me, and if you review based on price then you are forgetting the world has many other people in it, not all of whom are you.
