From Firetrust :MailWasher Pro allows you to preview multiple accounts and all aspects of your e-mail on the server before you download it to your computer, thus protecting you from spam, viruses, phishing attacks, and other nuisances. The program also learns what kind of e-mail you want to receive and adapts to your preferences. You can then delete unwanted e-mail before it gets to you and even report it to the central FirstAlert database, where it's verified to ensure no other MailWasher Pro user gets it. Other features help identify and protect you against viruses and worms. Also included are comprehensive, customizable filters, use of public blacklists to identify spammers, and multiple accounts.

Version 6.53 imports users passwords from their e-mail program to make it easier to setup.

Pros: I have used this since it came out and I would hate to be without it. It saves a lot of time by allowing you to mark items as delete or bounce automatically
Cons: Really can't think of any negatives

"I've been usuing Mailwasher Pro for several years now."
Pros: It does exactly what I need and want it to do. I wish more software programs would follow their lead.
Cons: None, I'm totally comfortable with it. Great job Ya'll
Summary: I REALLY like having a permanent license to use the program and all upgrades are free for life. You can't beat that.

Pros: The program has significantly reduced the amount of spam I receive. Over time it learns what you consider worthless. It allows me to bounce spam so it looks like my email address is no good.
Cons: Even when I tell the program to block an email source rather than an individual sender I still have to change the filter to block the whole site.
Summary: Less spam.

"Great for not allowing spam further than your server."
Pros: The ability to see what is at the server without needing to download.
Cons: Occasional glitch that allows one or two spam through. even though marked for blacklist and delete. Still do not fully understand why that happens.
Summary: Simple to use. Clear indication of what you have in your email box before it hits your computer. Ability to delete and blacklist before downloading.
