From Firetrust :MailWasher Pro allows you to preview multiple accounts and all aspects of your e-mail on the server before you download it to your computer, thus protecting you from spam, viruses, phishing attacks, and other nuisances. The program also learns what kind of e-mail you want to receive and adapts to your preferences. You can then delete unwanted e-mail before it gets to you and even report it to the central FirstAlert database, where it's verified to ensure no other MailWasher Pro user gets it. Other features help identify and protect you against viruses and worms. Also included are comprehensive, customizable filters, use of public blacklists to identify spammers, and multiple accounts.
What's new in this version:
Version 6.53 imports users passwords from their e-mail program to make it easier to setup.

"Simply the best Spam fighter out there"
Pros: You retain full control of what emails you download giving a sense of real confidence in the product. The only thing that will go wrong will be the operator. This is exceptional software
Cons: There is nothing that annoys me as it is simple and precise

"I downloaded it but did not install it."
Pros: i am using 4.1 and when I bought it I really needed it. I downloaded the new 6.53 but I would have to buy it again and my new Internet provider has pretty well eliminated the junk mail so I JUST KEEP USING THE 4.1 VERSION which works well
Cons: no cons for version 4.1

"Super program, but has a small update future."
Pros: Sure, it's for the lifetime of the product - so the current Pro product as it's stands has always had free updates. We're re-writing it from scratch and it's a different product with probably a different name, but we're offering a $10 upgrade to it.
