This narrowly focused utility handles its main job without any major hiccups, although its lack of certain features make it a less-flexible option than some competing applications. On the plus side, MP3 Cutter Joiner chops up and merges files of several audio formats, including WMA, OGG, and WAV. You also can use it as a simple conversion utility and specify the quality of your new files. The program boasts a clear, convenient interface that's easy to use, allowing you to split songs with two quick clicks as you preview them with the basic built-in player. Unfortunately, it is not possible to dice a file into more than two segments, and you can't choose to cut files by a specified size or duration. However, the utility demonstrates decent speed when cutting and joining files. Folks who have simple audio-joining and audio-splitting needs might give this program a look.Publisher's description

"Not the easiest program to use"
Pros: I personally didn't have a problem with cutting in the right places but would be nice to type in times instead of trying to adjust the slider.
Cons: Ends of songs missing, poor quality sound.
Summary: When you play a file, the end of the song is always missing, so I have to tell it to 'split' the file before I can edit it properly, which was a faff. Then when I did eventually get into my stride, the finished recording wasn't very good. I set it t... read more >>

Pros: After a lot of trial and error got the file split where I wanted it split.
Cons: I had alot of problems trying to get it to cut where I wanted it to, it would have been easier if you could jst type in the end time. It also added a lot of clicks and snaps to the cut mp3.
Summary: Acceptable as a free trial not something you should have to pay for.
