Publisher's description
From Interplay :M.A.X. 2 (Mechanized Assault and Exploration) is a strategy game that deals with events that occur 15 years after the end of the original M.A.X. game. In M.A.X. 2, there are still renegade human colonies around, as well as aliens that are very interested in getting rid of them. Some of the humans have combined their DNA with the Concord aliens, but there are still some plain humans running around, as well. You can play as an alien or a human (although the line is beginning to blur). Gameplay is in real-time format, but you can pause the game when you have contact with the enemy, which is a nice feature. Simultaneous turn-based play is also an option. The music is interesting, too: both human and alien musical forms are used, and the moods shift based on how the game is going. This version updates the earlier demo beta, fixing bugs brought to the developer's attention via user feedback.
