With Luxand Blink (64-Bit) login to your PC without touching a thing. Luxand Blink (64-Bit) is a free tool to let you log in to your Windows account by simply looking into a webcam - no passwords to type and no fingers to scan. The innovative face recognition technology developed by Luxand recognizes users' faces quickly and reliably, and is able to match the user with an associated account even with different haircuts, beards or mustaches grown or shaved off while completely eliminating false positives. It helps secure workstations in the office, too. No longer will employees have to use yellow stickers to remember their passwords. Face login will complement your corporate security policy just perfectly, providing the benefit of few false negatives and nearly impossible false positive recognitions.
Does not work properly on a windows 7 pro 64 bit OS
msklipich
Pros
Contained no spyware/viruses or malware.
Detected my webcam instantly.
Installed without any issues.
Cons
1. DO NOT INSTALL!
2. Software appeared to work fine at first but then failed to load at the windows logon screen.
3. Unable to start my computer up after several restarts of the computer. Even the normal windows login screen would not appear.
4. I highly suggest not installing this software on a Windows 7 system
Summary
The software seemed to work fine at first then it went all down hill after that.
Then it started to take to long to recognize my face to log in to the windows
environment. Then the computer on reboot would not display both the Blink face
recognition screen nor the normal windows log in screen. I had to do a cold start
(hold down the power button of the computer) to get the computer to reboot but still
no log in options. Fortunately, I had made a system back up of my computer and was
able to load my computer from a previous date.
DO NOT INSTALL THIS APP unless you first back up your computer.
this does not work for win 7 64x
RavenMacLean
Pros
don't know, wasn't able to install it because it says it is not compatible with my version of windows. (I'm running win7 64x)
Cons
it's not compatible with what it claims to be compatible with
Summary
unless you have vista or xp this one won't work. I even tried running the installation in Vista compatibility mode, and it still didn't work.

rwmTiger101
Pros
it is easy to install. it do log you in faster.
Cons
you need light to make it work right. get your self a low watt bulb that you can use for your desk that will not blind you. you will be ok.
Summary
bottom-line is you do in stall this. there 2 thing you need to know. if face do not log you in. just put in the code your self. light maybe a problem for you. any one can take a photo of you and log you in. can be a risk. for me, it is not a problem...

Pros
It's a new innovation to me and I'm thrilled by it.
Cons
It takes a little too long to recognize my photo.
Summary
Please try to improve on time interval for photo recognition. Nice product.
Like it after 1 week

Pros
1. It's geeky; 2. Saves me from typing my password; 3. When your screen is locked, on the login screen Blink! displays whatever the camera sees which makes people think you are recording the stream; 4. Recognizes me with hats and glasses
Cons
1. Sometimes the lighting doesn't cooperate and Blink! can't recognize my face; 2. I question how secure my stored password is
Summary
Initially I was manually switching between my laptop's built in webcam when undocked and my external USB webcam when docked. After doing that for a while it eventually started to automatically switch: not sure how it figured it out.
Cool novelty software, but not consistent & fast enough
jmjanzen
Pros
Easy to install and set up. Integrates into my OS (Win7 64-bit) seamlessly. It correctly recognized my face when lighting conditions were the same as they were during initial calibration.
Cons
If lighting changes, or the angle or distance of your face changes too much, recognition doesn't happen. You sit and wait for it to recognize you, but nothing happens. No advanced calibration option is available.
Summary
If you could run the software through a variety of lighting and distance situations to see how your face looks in various visual situations, maybe it could recognize my face every time. It would still be too slow, though. As another reviewer said, passwords can be typed very quickly. My laptop also has a fingerprint reader, which is even faster than typing my password. So, although it's pretty cool when it works, it's still too slow and it doesn't give you any indication that it's making progress in recognizing you while it's working, which is frustrating. Download to play with, not to replace your password or fingerprint login rituals.
Works Perfect!
Cyberian75
Pros
Very convenient works well 99% of the time.
Cons
Memory-resident . Takes around 30MB.
I'm using TASKKILL to kill its process upon logon via the scheduler.
Summary
A must-have software if you're concerned about security.
Quick, clean and efficient

Pros
It is faster than typing-in your password, the interface is simple to use. That it's free is the cherry on top!
Cons
A "minor quirk" - does not allow the user to change the selected user account.
Summary
There's the utility of the product and there's the "cool" factor. This one wins on both counts.
One minor quirk. I have a non-admin user that I use most of the time. When installing, I was prompted for admin credentials. The installer linked my face with the admin account. Had to delete the initial profile which logged me in to my admin a/c and recreate it after logging in with my regular account.
Enhancement request - allow me to set a time interval that would lock the system after that amount of inactivity if my face was no longer in range of the monitor. The system could kick back in as soon I returned.
