Although nothing beats Photoshop, you don't have to empty your wallet to get professional results from an image editor. The features of this lightweight yet powerful image-editing tool rival those found in other high-end products. LView Pro packs a punch with seven components: an image editor, an image-file browser, a slide-show viewer, a contact-sheet builder, a Web-gallery builder, a batch-print spooler, and an image catalog. The image editor alone is worth the price of registration; it offers layer and transparency control, painting tools, collapsible toolbars, support for pressure-sensitive tablets, and the ability to create and edit GIF animations. The organization of the interface puts everything right where you need it, including easy-to-understand help files. Overall, the layer support, simplicity, and price make this image-editor a definite keeper that will appeal to graphic designers and amateurs alike.Publisher's description

Version: LView Pro 2006
"Great and easy to understand"
Pros: Even thought I have Paint shop pro as my default, I use this program when I need to do some clones. Its brushes are very suitable.Could be expensive for some people, considering that there are a lot of good alternative, but for me it is ok
Cons: none

Version: LView Pro 2006
Cons: This bogus stuff, is bowguss!! Cheap, bogus, photoshop knock-offs yellin," make gallerys, animations, thumbnails,........etc.". That's all they do. They sure don't edit images.
-
Version: LView Pro 2006
Pros: Integration with Windows O/S
Cons: Only few days to try before buying, and old version (2006)
-
Version: LView Pro 2006
"Uninstalled the program as fast as I installed it."
Pros: N/A, found fatal flaw b4 working with program.
Cons: re-writes the system so all graphic files show as Lview files, can not see file type. Can not tell a GIF from a JPEG.
