This program is very small and very simple to use.
It seems there is a bug in 188.8.131.52 where it will crash sometimes if the window is re-drawn i.e. another window is dragged in front of it while the imaging is in progress. This can be a bit frustrating, and it appears the Lucersoft website does not exist any more so no technical support.
It just about works if you are patient and don't do anything while it is running.
Otherwise you would be best to use a more stable program to create ISO images.

This is a small app (on screen, anyway) that does exactly what it claims to do. It is not a feature filled program that does everything for everyone but one that does exactly what is desired and does it fast and reliably. I use DVDFab PassKey (free) to remove the copy protections and LC ISO Creator to make the .iso files from CDs from Netflix, when I am in a time crunch, so I can watch them when I have more time from my NAS. Works great and lets me store up movies so I can choose the one I am in a mood for then view and delete for storing more. I have used it and found it works in XP, Vista and W7.
It used to fail when it got and lost focus repeatedly but has not failed lately after a long time of use. Either it was fixed or an environment problem was fixed in Windows.
Great little single-purpose tool that makes .iso files from DVDs quickly and easily. Use with DVDFab Passkey (free) for reliable copying results. As always, consider contributing to the author(s).
Just plain works. It is fantastic for making ISO images of game cd/dvds and thus keeping the originals free from scratches. Combine this with Daemon Tools Lite and you will never ruin your game discs again.
None, no bells and whistles is all.
If you want mirror ISO images of your discs, this all you need.
Just open it up, and it automatically detects the cd in the cd drive. There is one button to push, which causes a window to open up so you cna choose the name and location of the ISO, and voila, about 5 minutes later, it's done.
