none, absolute junk
No idea what the program is doing. Data unretrievable Progress totally unclear Junk
spellcheck makes many errors,
Phone freezes up,
soft touch screen has a mind of its own,
Samsung sends all voice records to Nuance - like it or not. All recorded voice notes, or voice to text or voice searches automatically go to Nuance without your knowledge and are stored on their servers FOR EVER,
iPhones "siri" equivalent sucks in a big way. I hardly ever works and when it does its slow.
horrible support from Samsung
DO NOT PURCHASE SAMSUNG PRODUCTS, YOU WILL REGRET IT!

Its slow, freezes up, has few options (that seldom work), its not user friendly either.
There are no Pros for this product
-It will work for a short time, then corrupt your calendar by duplicating events and offsetting the time.
- It will, on occasion, duplicate contacts in Outlook
- Just stop working, You won't believe what Samsung support does to you to recover. Which only lasts about a month before it all falls apart again.
- This is just BAD software, it renders your smart phone into a nightmare
DO NOT USE this software. There are only a few alternatives. You are better off not purchasing a Samsung phone in the first place.
There is absolutely nothing good about this.
None of the information about songs or artists transfers. You can not edit any file information. Album artwork won't transfer. Doesn't matter if you buy the stuff or upload it from a CD or download it from a secure website or anything. Your music will end up completely unorganized either under an artist name of "Unknown" or in the "Folder" selection of your music player. After 3 hours of researching solutions and attempting everything I have read, it is still absolute garbage. Even trying to make an account on this website just to write a review in order to keep myself from smashing my computer took forever because their "Account Confirmation" link is spammed out so much it's not even click-able. I got this software over a year ago and thought that maybe by now I would be able to listen to my music arranged by artist instead of just having to shuffle the entire library due to the software's organizational shortcomings, but no. It is still just as miserable an experience as ever.
This software is terrible. There are plenty more words to describe it's efficiency/usability, but they are all synonyms. If you are a music listener that has spent a lot of time/money on your music collection, DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG PRODUCT. I have had to forfeit the use of my own music and instead now pay a monthly fee to use Spotify just so I can enjoy listening to music on my phone. I made the switch from iPhone to GS4 and could not be more disappointed. I encourage anyone who values their music collection to avoid Samsung products until they work this bulls**t out. I honestly cannot think of anything good to say about this product, not one single thing. It is utter garbage, and the fact that a company as large as Samsung is relying solely on this useless software for their customers to listen to their own music is extremely telling. The other way you can listen to your music is to stream it all either through a cloud software or through google play, which is also a streaming app. I will be purchasing an iPhone as my next mobile device so that I can finally listen to my own music collection without having to waste valuable data on doing so. My dissatisfaction cannot be stressed enough, if I could rate this product zero stars, I would have.
You can do everything you need after hours of researching solutions on the internet
I mass transferred my music, which has a substantial amount of music with the name track1 or track 2 etc. because of cds i previously transferred to my computer with no problem. kies will not allow me an option to transfer files to my phone with same names I'm only given option overwrite or skip, so I had to mass rename files through automator which took a while to learn. I just want kies to work seamlessly but I think being forced to use automator can be considered a patch that needs to be patched.
I need a "rename" option and a simple "transfer/keep both files" option when items with same names are being transferred. I also need kies to transfer faster it takes forever to transfer files. it gets stuck on files for a reason unknown to me everytime I try to transfer my music, when I didn't use any app with my old phone I never had this problem. I am strongly against being forced to use this app. I thought droid gave people freedom. Yes I'm using a mac computer but it's the droid phone that's forcing me to use a downloaded app to simply transfer files. I can't ever put my phone on mass storage and the usb debugging option doesn't help either.
1. Your Samsung phone will be recognize-able for you to transfer Files.
2. Easily Sync Files to your Samsung Device
1. NO OPTIONS to RATE your music files. (What on EARTH? For real?)
2. NO equalizer / sound altering options other than volume up and down.
3. NO OPTIONS to edit viewable category items / NO sorting Options
4. Issues have been ongoing and UNRESOLVED / Lagging further Development
5. Not compatible with Syncing Playlist files from ITUNES / possibly other developers as well.
Note: Although ITUNES is direct competitor, being that Apple commands the attention, respect, and common knowledge of Apple existence and products amongst media player users across the globe, Samsung kind of shoots themselves in the foot by developing such a Unique and AHEAD OF IT'S TIME device with the Samsung Galaxy Series' devices, but failing very noticeably miserably at developing such an application to draw or steal attention away from Apple. This one feature alone may cause enough users to FAIL at an attempted switch to Kies and be SO upset or lose SO MUCH that they may run from Samsung ALL TOGETHER.
All in All... And I ABSOLUTELY LOVE SAMSUNG... I have a Samsung HD TV 2 Galaxy Note 3 phones and an Older Samsung Galaxy S3... Being that Apple pretty much OWNS the "Digital Media Player World", Samsung really should have taken a better effort to give them competition. I'm guessing most ATTEMPTED converts will make the same decision I am going to make... Although Samsung has really cool features The Air Touch and Voice Commands... I am an Older guy so that stuff really doesn't matter to ME. The MEDIA PLAYERS is absolutely the MOST IMPORTANT FEATURE on the phone to me next to GPS and Text Messaging... Which you can get with ANY Smartphone now... We as previous ITUNES users trying to Switch to Samsung will feel the MOST pain without a doubt. 4 years I have dealt with Sync issues between Itunes and my Samsung phones. I have 3 times attempted to switch to Kies but the options are so... Wait... there ARE NO OPTIONS! If you want something that plays music and Grandma or the Babies can change songs because its SO BASIC... FINE... but if you want BASS... To RATE YOUR MUSIC... To ADD FILES AUTOMATICALLY all of the things we call Normal now thanks to Apple... Better stay away from Kies. When my next upgrade comes around, if Samsung still has no fix... I may have to Cheat on them because I AM NOT HAPPY in this relationship anymore Samsung!
won't work. Hours waisted
won't work. Hours waisted
give me a break Samsung
do not import iTunes playlist
Kies 2 not working for Galaxy NOTE 4, but Kies 3 is horrible too!
forget about it, don't waste your time. you will be amazed by Samsung how badly they are in creating software though they create one of the greatest mobile phone. disappointed
no pros at all always got certification has been revoked error
application failed to work on my samsung galaxy phone
samsung kies always comes up with error and cannot use the software at all. since then I have turned to Wondershare Mobilego app. The best alternative to samsung kies ever and it works! heres my review on mobilego http://www.allpcstuff.com/samsung-kies-alternative-allpcstuff-com/
Nothing, Nadda, Nyet, Nein, Non, Naye..
Everything about it.. Crashes, locks up, wipes out..
They have arguably the best smart phone on the market yet their brain dead developers cannot develop an upgrade software system to compliment Galaxy's.. Once if F**Ked me up with my 1st Galaxy 4 which is summarily crashed and wiped out everything, I will always recommend to avoid like the plague it has become.
