With access to a few dozen preapproved child-friendly sites, Kids Web Menu offers parents a sheltered hub for young kids to safely and easily explore the Internet. Links to sites featuring online games, education, and popular cartoon toys and icons are presented in two themes, and parents keep content choices locked up with a password key. If parents don't mind being kept from approving additional sites and minimizing the app, and if they don't mind exposing their kids to in-app advertising from sponsoring sites, Kids Web Menu is a good option for first-time surfers.

Version: Kids Web Menu - browser for children 1.5
"Clever navigation makes this browser "game-like""
Pros: Not sure if this is a pro or con, but this browser is so fun and easy for our 5-year old that she is becoming addicted to the Internet. The fact that this software is free (and no subscriptions) is nice for a change!! But hey, it's summertime - be sure to send your kids out to play too! ;)
Cons: If the next version could have a timer for parents limit their kid's time on the computer, that would be great!

"Fantastic,Safe, Child Friendly must have program!"
Pros: Very easy to set-up as a parent. Easy to navigate for children. Our child spends hours surfing the browser secure and safe from the dangers that we all know exist out there on the web.
Cons: It would be good if the program could not be closed by the child without maybe a password entered by an adult. Like anything else, parental over-site is always recommended.

Pros: Completely visual interface for non-readers.
Cons: Can't wait for the Mac version !
