• I Have A Clean Keyboard Now

  Pros

  It is simple and works as claimed, Apple missed the boat when they rejected this one! My "White MacBook" was more like a white ring around the keyboard because it is always on and I almost never shut it down except when I finally clean my keyboard.

  Cons

  When Activated The Keyboard Didn't Work... Duh ;-) Oh wait! That was supposed to happen... I just wrote this instead of "None" because nothing should be Unanimous...

  Summary

  Easy to install just unzip and drag it to the applications folder. Click on it to open and lock, and click on it to unlock and close. Oh Gawd! Did I mention my keyboard is so clean now? Thank You Andreas!

  Does what it says it does, in that it "turns off" the keyboard for cleaning.

  Because of the layout of my office the USB lead from the keyboard is hidden behind a shelf beneath my desk. I usually leave my computer on and cleaning the keyboard is therefore somewhat problematic - not least because I also eat breakfast, lunch and occasionally dinner when I'm seated at the Mac. This terrific little app won't save any lives, but it does make scrubbing my keyboard a lot easier than before. Full marks to the developer for thinking of messy slobs like me.
