Once you get the hang of it, Airwer Karaoke Song List Creator provides a fast way to catalog your collection of karaoke CDs. The interface consists of a button toolbar, some pull-down menus, a disc code window, and the song-list window. The program holds a comprehensive list of commercial discs, which you look up via the first pull-down menu. When you select a disc's manufacturer from the list, the disc code window jumps to that maker's list of codes. You then check the box next to the code that matches your disc and hit the Create List button, and all the tracks appear in the bottom song list window. The Add button lets you import custom CDs.

You can sort by artist, title, track number, or manufacturer. Our favorite feature, since we've sat through one too many 10-minute renditions of "Hotel California," is the right-click menu option for hiding an individual track. Because the trial version disables printing, we couldn't fully evaluate the program's song-list functions, but the song-request slips look good. Professional karaoke jocks (known as KJs) should really appreciate Airwer Karaoke Song List Creator.
