  Sucks. Miro beats everything else I've seen! Doesn't work claiming I don't have have the latest version of DirectX even though I just installed DirectX 10 and restarted my computer, but it still doesn't install!!

  Pros

  Looks nice. Lots of TV shows and stuff.

  Cons

  Doesn't work on my desktop at all. Just gives a message saying it can't continue. No error code or anything, not even a log file to help diagnose the problem or to report it. It is obviously still in early Beta if not alpha stage. Don't think you can watch any of the shows off line or pre-download them so you can watch them later without worrying about net congestion (or a slow network).

• The Best Free internet TV site

  After testing various TV software and visiting loads of sites. most of them offer a free trial or preview and then they make you pay to sign up, or are cluttered with ads. I think that is ridiculous... so ive done my research and have found a couple of really decent sites. The first one Id like to draw your tention to is (viewmy.tv) This site has almost 1300 channels from around the globe and counting. it is free to register and they dont ask for stupid details, just your username and email address. It actually streams live channels so you dont have to download any and they have a pretty easy way of finding the channel you want. You can search through genre, country, region or name of the channel. oh and there are no ads either. Check this one out. With over 1300 channels from hundreds of countries, loads of features like channel rating, user recommendations, live chat, profile pages and much much more.

  Pros

  Joost has a big variety of channels such as featured, my channels, whats new, whats popular, comedy, documentry, drama, entertainment, film, life style, music, news, sports, a to z and more. <p>Some shows are long and some shows are short clips, and this player can be put into full screen size. The best way to navigate to the channel list is to click on explore.

  Cons

  What I dont like is I had to create an account just to use this player, and it needs a stop button on the player. And the video quality is not very good on some channels.

  A nice feature for someone who likes watching tv or other video without an online video connection

  Sometimes confusing to navegate. Also, very poor sound quality. Even with headphone and my volumn set at maximum, difficult to hear. Also, almost impossible to exit software. Have to exit thru the icon on my systems tray

  Fine program selection - when it works. Great concept. I'll happily reinstall when it's fixed.

  Cons

  As buggy as all hell. Starts off well, then begins to jam my Dell P4 with icons appearing everywhere. Finally it just completly crashed, so had to chuck it out.
