Publisher's description of Joiner
From Webline:Joiner is application intended for joining of multimedia files. The program possesses simple operation, smooth design, all in style of a PDA (palm pilot). Joiner enables the joining of audio (mp3), video (mpeg) and real media (rm) files while the output quality is determined by function "compatibility status". You can add arbitrary number of files in "Join List" and in sequence you require. The options available allow you to select a default save folder, default file type, multimedia files playback and sending of joint files list by e-mail to your friends directly from Joiner.

Version: Joiner 1.1
"An update to fix it's flaws is needed"
Pros: Great for joining mp3's - fast and effective.
Great for joining mpg files - but...
Cons: If you want to snip together 1 or 2 mb clips it's fine - but don't even bother with larger mpg's, they wont play, even though the joiner said IT'S DONE DONE DONE.
I tried in vain to join 3 x 20bm clips - first one played, until it got to the second, then frooze. I run it through VCDGEAR (great for fixing video) It fixed it, but the volume was stuffed.
The interface is alittle to 'try hard cool' for my liking aswell, especially that annoying IT'S DONE DONE DONE wav that screams at you every time you have joined something.
Also when you browse for a 'saveto' folder, it wont read 'My Documents' which means you will have to install a seperate folder in c drive's main. Not hard, but why should you have to?
